Funds for events through the latest round of the RDP

MACKAY Whitsunday events will receive $35,000 through the latest round of the Regional Development Program.

Member for Mackay Julieanne Gilbert said the funding would support local events and help bring visitors to the region.

Mrs Gilbert said the funding would go to Airlie Beach Festival of Music (November 5-8 ) $25,000 and Airlie Beach Running Festival (July 16-17) $10,000.
