PCYC Whitsunday has hosted numerous community events and developed strong working relationships with key organisations within our community. Police-Citizens Youth Club Whitsunday is a self funded, Not for Profit organisation and we do not receive any government funding to support our club. Our aim is to enhance our community through youth development. This is encouraged through a caring environment with a wide range of activities for all ages as well as affordable membership and activity fees.
Formed in 1999 by a very small group of enthusiastic amateurs with very little triathlon experience between them, the club has since blossomed into a significant local sporting organization with a high community profile. The Whitsunday club has a reputation as one of the friendliest around and unlike many tri clubs boasts a high percentage of women members. Many people join club training sessions on a casual basis when they are visiting the area and can always be assured of a warm welcome.
Welcome to the Whitsunday Sailing Club – famous for Airlie Beach Race Week, now in it’s 25th year, this year sponsored by Vision Surveys Queensland, and the Great Whitsunday Fun Race. Situated right on the point in Airlie Beach with stunning water views, the club has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and also features the must-see Balinese Pavilion – ideal for weddings and ceremonies.
Whitsunday Raiders Rugby Union has both Senior and Junior teams. For further information jump onto their website above.
