PROSERPINE Youthspace will host an all day event at Pioneer Park next Thursday to recognise R U OK? Day.
R U OK? Day is an annual day in September dedicated to remind people to ask family, friends and colleagues the question, “R U OK?”, in a meaningful way because connecting regularly and meaningfully is one thing everyone can do to make a difference and even save lives.
The day will include special guests from other local organisations and within the community including Youth Connections, Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services, talented local artists, and even a Zumba extraordinaire.
Whitsunday residents are invited to take part in the all-day event that’ll also include face painting, a sausage sizzle and team art activities.
