Paradise found

By Mark Beale

AITKEN family members are among the first to move into their new home in Regatta Waters Whitsundays and they are loving every minute of their new life in paradise.

New homeowner Tenille Aitken said the main thing she had noticed about her new JM Constructions home, apart from the delightful views over the driving range and out to the sea, was the sense of community.

“The main thing for me as a parent is that it’s got a safe, community feel about it, and there are other families here as well, which is nice,” she said.

“That and the view is so nice and it’s always a pleasure to look at.”

Ray White Whitsunday projects sales and marketing manager, Steve Marks, said it was pleasing to see how far Regatta Waters had come.

“It’s really gratifying to start to see families move in,” he said. “We’ve been on this project since it was just dirt and now you’re starting to see it come to life with families in the estate and kids riding bikes; it really is a living, breathing community now.”

Mr Marks said there were now just 16 blocks left for sale on the estate.

“We’ve done five sales this year already. You can still get house and land packages from $430,000,” he said.
