I had an interesting childhood, growing up in numerous countries in West Africa. During this time, I was fortunate to travel a lot, cementing my passion for hospitality. My subsequent career saw me working in several countries throughout Europe. After 13 years of grey skies (picture London here!), it was time to find sunshine and a move to Australia was my inevitable choice (plus my partner is Aussie). I arrived on Hamilton island in 2012, where I instantly felt at home.
On the island I ran a property caretaking company and then moved into the property management department on Hamilton Island, sparking my passion for the holiday home business. Starting a new family, we then moved onto the mainland, where I returned to hospitality, taking reign of the Heart Hotel and Gallery Whitsundays from its infancy stages, then managed Mirage Whitsundays during Cyclone Debbie repairs and the opening of Mira Restaurants, before moving to Coral Sea Resort Hotel during its new ownership and renovations.
As a Real Estate Agent since 2015 and with over 25 years’ experience in the Hospitality business, I am excited to be part of the Holiday Letting department - take a break with Whitsunday Vacations!
